Attractive and Off-Road Tough . . .
Coaches sold by Metra RV Center are built to withstand off-road travel and provide you with all the comforts of
home. This year's Arctic Foxes are no exception. The models are constantly improving with state of the art
construction methods and upgraded interior amenities. All Foxes have R-18 blanket insulation in the ceiling and
R-7 in the walls and floors so you will be protected from extreme temperatures in all seasons. That's why Arctic Fox
has earned a Four Season Rating. If you are looking for year round comfort, choose Arctic Fox.
The structural steel chassis is designed for load capacity well beyond the weight of the coach and your
belongings. Structural steel chassis frames (C-channel smaller units "I" Beam for super slide models) are
engineered for superior strength and structural integrity for each model. Exterior grade plywood floors (not
strand board) with plenty of steel cross members in the frame, provide superior strength and resilience to the
coach.
The straight axles provide extra ground clearance for off-road use and axle placement is engineered to offer the
prefect balance of your tow vehicle and shock absorbers are included at every wheel. Arctic Fox Models use high
performance tires with appropriate load ranges for maximum carrying capacity and safety.
Retractable non-skid double steps or triple steps and folding, padded safety hand rails, provide safe and easy
access.
You can walk on an Arctic Fox roof from end to end. They are designed to withstand heavy snow loads and are
crowned to shed water quickly. The Northwood 4-½ and 5-½ crowned roof truss systems is glue bonded to 3/8" plywood,
not strand board, and sealed with a continuous on-piece heavy gauge laminated rubber membrane. You will
appreciate the oversized rain gutters and down spouts that divert water away from the side of the
coach. You can also
include a generator in Foxes starting with the 22H.
All Arctic Fox coaches have one of the highest safety ratings in the industry. The durable one piece
laminated hardwall surfaces are easy to maintain and are resistant to flying road debris, chips and dents. The tough
diamond plate rock guard on small travel trailers and diamond plate bumper wrap, are tough, attractive and built to last.
Fiberglass front and rear caps come standard on larger Fox models.
Inside the coach, every Arctic Fox is equipped with residential style floor heating with metal registers and ducted
roof-top air conditioning. Arctic Fox coaches also include an awning, microwave, TV antenna, enclosed & Heated
holding tanks, black holding tank flush system, DSI gas & electric water heater, tinted windows, spare tire group and
